Arrival to Suites & Villas Hotel - 13th February
Welcome cocktail.
Please arrive in Gran Canaria on Thursday, to make the most of the three days. Our main goal on this day is to help you settle in and get oriented, both on and off the bike, and ensure you're ready for an unforgettable weekend.
You’ll have the opportunity to check and set up your bike, stretch your legs and meet your fellow members and the Escape team. Welcome cocktail.
For those traveling from Palma de Mallorca, flight NT5109 lands at around 3:25 PM in Gran Canaria. Special price for Escape attendants in the Hotel, read our FAQs.
No riding planned on this day.
DAY 1- 14th February
First ride in the island.
9am After a warm welcome briefing we will face an epic day on the roads of Gran Canaria.
8pm Dinner after the ride.
Good condition of the riders will be needed, Gran Canaria is quite hilly.
DAY 2- 15th February
Another day for the books.
9am After the Friday we will face the second day riding in this paradise.
8pm Dinner.
Good condition of the riders will be needed, Gran Canaria is quite hilly.
DAY 3 - 16th February
Last day in this cycling paradise.
8am Two ride options for those who leaving the island this day, long and short.

FAQs
Do I have to be a RCC member to attend?
Yes. Escapes are offered exclusively to RCC members. If you wish to join us and you are not already a member, you can purchase membership here.
How difficult is the riding?
RCC Escape Canarias specifically is and advanced riding trips designed for intermediate to advanced riders. This trip in particular is a difficult challenge with a minimum 300km-380km distance and 4000m-6800m of climbing across the weekend. If you are unsure whether this trip would be suitable for you, please reach out to us and we would be happy to guide you.
Can I see the routes for the Escape?
The routes will be sent to all attendees as soon as we set them up by email.
Can I update my booking details?
If you need to make any changes to your booking details eg. garment size, dietary restrictions, etc, please email mario.caballero@rapha.cc and quote your full name and booking reference number which is included in your confirmation email.
Can I get a refund?
Generally, no. However, ticket refunds will be processed at Rapha's discretion in the case of any extenuating circumstances or if the event is cancelled due to not enough tickets being sold. There are no cancellations offered within 14 days of the event.
Can I read the terms and conditions?
The RCC's standard Terms and Conditions will apply to this trip. You can read them here.
What happens if the event is sold out?
Please register your interest if there are cancellations or additional rooms are released here. We will be in touch on a first come, first serve basis.
What happens if the event is cancelled?
If 15 days before the event the minimum number of tickets has not been sold, we will proceed to cancel the event and refund the ticket price. However, we will not be able to cover personal expenses such as flights and hotels
Special price for the Hotel?
Yes, all our attendants will have a 10% of discount in the hotel website, and if you become member of the Dunas Club a 5% extra will be applied.

Is it mandatory to book a room at the Suite & Villas Hotel?
Not at all! We’d love for all RCC members to stay at the same hotel, as it makes things easier for both the organizers and attendees. Plus, post-ride gatherings by the pool could be amazing! However, we completely understand if you choose other hotels for various reasons.
